The You Beauty Discovery box is a monthly beauty and skincare subscription box service. It costs from £6.95 per month (with shipping included) and subscribers are given a shortlist of products to choose from. You will then receive your two selected items along with a few little extra treats.
The theme this month was Beauty Heroes and the freebies I received were:
- A Montagne Jeunesse Dead Sea Mud Spa face mask.
- A cute, heart-shaped Expandable Face Cloth.
The first product I specifically chose was the Rituals Zensation Organic Rice Milk & Cherry Blossom Foaming Shower Gel Sensation (50 ml sample, 200 ml = £8.50), which smells lovely and lathers up nicely.
My second selection was the L'Oréal Infallible 24H Lip Colour (full size, worth £9.99) in Timeless Rose 110, a beautiful pink shade. You first apply the base colour, allow it to fully dry and then apply the conditioning balm over it to hydrate your lips. It has great staying power but it dries out my lips terribly and they stick together, so I have to keep reapplying the balm throughout the day, but I think it's worth the trade off for smudge-proof lips.
Overall, I am very impressed with my You Beauty Discovery box. I didn't sign up until near the end of the month so I missed out on a few of the options available, but I'm still happy with the products I chose. It's an affordable service, excellent value for money and you get to pick the products in your box rather than end up with something you won't get any use out of. Out of all of my subscription boxes this is the one I see myself sticking with in the long run!
